Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Today is the start of Challenge #11 at Hooked On Craft Challenges and the theme this fortnight is 'Halloween'! I am so excied for Halloween and I just adore all the Halloween themed stamps at Hooked On Craft. For my card I have made a spooky graveyard scene! I used my Cricut and 'Happy Hauntings' cartridge to cut out my Frankenstein, graves, and skeleton. My background house was cut out on Cricut as well with my 'Pumpkin Carving' cartridge. I inked my edges with distress ink in 'tea dye' and 'walnut stain' to give it a kind of darker feel.

Please join is at Hooked On Craft Challenges for our 'Halloween' challenge! Can't wait to see all the fabulous creations!

Hope you get to eat lots of lollies and chocolate today! (Well, at least I will be! At the bottom of this post is a pic of yummy Halloween cupcakes I made!).

Here is a pic of some Halloween cupcakes I made too! They have spooky yucky body parts in them like ears, feet, teeth and fingers! Don't worry though, they are made of sugar so I still have all of my limbs! They are white chocolate mud cupcakes with mango icing; yummo!:

Baby Shower!

My friend Karen is about to have twin babies so I wanted to make her a baby card. I don't get to make many baby cards so I had fun doing this one! I wanted to make a card with a washing line with baby clothes on it. My friend is having a boy and a girl so I made little girl clothes and little boy clothes! I cut my clothes out on my Cricut using 'everday paper dolls' and 'paper doll dress up' Cricut cartridges and then I inked the edges with 'tea dye' distress ink. I found a stash of tiny little buttons which I purchased ages ago from a craft show so I glued them onto the clothes; how cute are they? I also found a cute little picket fence and tiny little pegs that I had not used yet either so I finally got to use them on this card. It's amazing the goodies you find when you clean up your craft room! My flowers and tiny leaves are from Hooked On Craft and are glittered with stickles.
Hope you like my card!

Bee In The Blooms!

Here is a card I have made featuring a gorgeous stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil. Her name is Bee and she is a gorgeous summer fairy! How lovely is she? I just love the digis from Mo's Digital Pencil. I have a number of them now and this one is one of my favourites. I have coloured her with copics and added some bling to her flowers and antennae. I also couldn't resist a splash of glitter on her wings (if I was a fairy i would want glittery wings too!)! My circular sentiment stamp was free from Bizzy Becs Store Blog (there are other cool free sentiments too!).

Hope you like my card!

Under The Sparkly Sea Is Where Mermaids Will Be!

When I saw this cute mermaid at Make It Crafty I knew I wanted to colour her fabulous hair with my favourtie colour pink! This lovely mermaid is called Siren Lorelei and can be purchased from Make It Crafty. I coloured her with copics and added sparkly glitter to her hair and tail. I went a little 'glitter crazy' with this card and used loads of glitter paper and bling and I also glittered my small seashells which I put on the bottom of my card. You can never have too much glitter right?!??!! I distressed the edges of my paper and used a Martha Stewart punch for the middle panel.

My halloween haunted house was cut out on my Cricut using my 'mini monsters' cartridge. Here is a card I have made featuring a gorgeous stamp from Whimsy Stamps designed by Crissy Armstrong called 'Newborn Joon'. She is just so cute, I just love her! She is coloured with copics and I added a dash of glossy accents to her bow. I thought she would look cute sitting in a field of flowers so I added heaps of them! My butterfly border punch is a Martha Stewart 'punch around the page' (how good are Martha's punches? I love them!). My 'thank you' sentiment was cut out with Spellbinders 'fancy tags'. Cupcakes Anyone?

The entries for last fortnight at Hooked On Craft Challenges were amazing! Thanks to everyone who entered!
This fortnight the challenge is "anything but a card". Now this was a real challenge for me becuase I am so used to making cards! For this challenge I have made cupcake holders with delicious cupcakes inside. I cut out my cupcake holders on my Cricut using my 'sweet treats' Cricut cartridge. Then I decorated them with flower lace ribbon, flowers, rose buds, bling and pearls all from Hooked On Craft. I used some of Hooked On Craft's gorgeous trinket pins and put them in my cupcakes for added decoration!
Please join us at Hooked On Craft Challenges for our "anything but a card" challenge! Can't wait to see the gorgeous papercrafts you guys come up with!
Now, i'm off to eat some cupcakes! By the way, my cupcakes are chocolate mud with caramel butter cream icing; yummo!
